Divorce: Rock band star says it ruined her physical health
  |   Mar 20, 2020  |  Divorce

California residents who divorce often have a lot to say about the process after its over. Many say they felt relieved or liberated after the final judgment was signed. Leaving a marriage, especially one that lasted many years, can certainly be difficult.

Navigating divorce often has financial and emotional consequences. The latter, some say, can lead to ill health, especially for those who either do not know where to seek support or are hesitant to do so for whatever reason. Rock band singer Hayley Williams says she stayed in an unhappy marriage for some time before her split from her then spouse.

Williams says she did not realize just how much her marital problems and subsequent divorce had negatively affected her health until she later saw photographs of herself. She apparently had become extremely thin, which she attributes to a physical manifestation of her emotional stress. Such stress can often be avoided if the person involved reaches out for additional support as needed.

For instance, in a California divorce, an individual trying to resolve legal issues on his or her own may feel overwhelmed, even highly stressed. However, the same situation often becomes more bearable and perhaps, easier to resolve by requesting guidance from an experienced family law attorney. A lawyer can help protect one’s rights and interests regarding property division, child custody or any other divorce-related matter. Relying on a personal legal advocate in court makes it likelier that one will be able to accomplish whatever goals have been set.
